Hilton Points Sale: 100% Bonus Through April 7
March 22, 2026 · 1 min read
Hilton is running a 100% bonus on purchased points through April 7. At 0.5 cents per point, this is their standard good offer, nothing extraordinary but solid for the right use case.
The Math
Hilton points are worth about 0.5cpp on average, so buying at 0.5cpp means you break even on typical redemptions. That makes no sense unless you are targeting premium properties.
| Property | Points/Night | Buy Cost | Cash Rate | Savings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waldorf Astoria Maldives | 95,000 | $475 | $1,500 | $1,025 |
| Conrad Bora Bora | 80,000 | $400 | $1,200 | $800 |
| Hilton Garden Inn | 30,000 | $150 | $140 | -$10 (loss) |
Warning: Buying Hilton points for mid-tier properties is almost always a losing proposition. The break-even only works at Waldorf, Conrad, and LXR properties where cash rates are genuinely high.
Bottom Line
Buy only for aspirational stays at premium properties. For everyday Hilton stays, cash is almost always cheaper than buying points.
